STAY 1 YEAR IN ITALY with the WORKING HOLIDAY VISA    

Are you searching for an option to explore the world and MOREOVER ITALY with her history, culture and natural beauty? Do you want for an entire year experience the Italian way of life?   The working holiday scheme will permit you travel and reside in Italy for one year alternating work, study and of course holiday.

Following the signature of the Agreement on Working Holiday Scheme in 2001 between Italy and New Zealand, the Embassy of Italy in Wellington offers every year up to 250 visa to young Kiwis between 18 and 30.  

Here are the conditions:

The applicant must:

The visa will be issued for a maximum of one year during which time the applicant may work for a total of six months but no more than three months with the same employer.
On arrival in Italy, upon presentation of the visa to the “Questura” (Police) the relevant Italian Authorities will issue the relative residence permit.  

The applicant/s is/are required to complete the visa application form in the presence of an Italian Consular Agent or a JP and then courier the application and related documentation to the

at least three weeks prior to departure together with:

(it is important when completing the visa application form to be sure to complete the section indicating the place of entry into Italy)  

IMPORTANT NOTE: The applicant must enter Italy within 3 months from the date of issue of the visa; if not, it will automatically expire and will no longer be able to be used.
